Almost got mugged this last week. I was out taking photos downtown and turned down an alley to try and get some grunge/texture shots. I was minding my own business when all of a sudden from behind a dumpster jumped a man dressed in a black hoodie. He pulled a gun and pointed it at me. I stared at him blankly for a second, unsure as to what my response should be. Then, in a moment of inspiration, I raised my Canon to my shoulder and began firing off shots left and right. I think I must have intimidated him, because he ran off down the alley screaming "Don't shoot, don't shoot!" I shook my head and wondered how someone so tough could be scared of a little camera. Anyways, I did get a couple good shots of the guy before he ran off, unfortunately I wasn't able to see his face, so identification might prove to be a little difficult.
Oh well, at least I got a pretty cool photo to add to my collection...
