BW Project Week 19

ISO 100 | 78mm | f 4.0 | 1/2000 sec

Here's a quick one today.  Shot this yesterday while the sun was out, I kind of liked the harsh feel that the direct sunlight gave my subject (not the mention the cool shadows projected onto the wall behind).  I really like the curves and leading lines in this photo, it's a literal playground for the viewer's eye to run and dance through as you follow the hose and piping in-and-out-over-and-through.

I had trouble deciding on the best orientation/cropping for this image.  There were multiple ways to approach the subject.  I ended up going with this shot because I liked the horizontal orientation better, and this crop summed up all that I wanted to portray in my image, I don't need to give the viewer any more information than what is already present in this photo.  Below is a compilation of other croppings/orientations.  See if you can decide which photograph best presents the subject to its viewer.
